On Wednesday, May 14, the movie «The Maltese Falcon» (1941) will be screened as part of the Filmoteca cycle at the North-University Sociocultural Center at 6:30 pm. This classic film noir, suitable for all audiences, can be enjoyed for free with tickets available at the venue.

The exhibition «Juego de letras» (Game of Letters), organized by Espacio Kalandraka, will start on Friday, May 16, at the Central Library and will be open for free access until June 29. This exhibition showcases illustrations from the book «Juego de letras» by the teacher and poet Antonio Rubio and the artist Óscar Villán, creators of the renowned pre-reading collection «From the cradle to the moon.»

In the evening, there will be a dance concert featuring pop rock music from the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s at the El Soto Theater at 8:00 pm by the «Guateque Club Band,» a group of professional musicians with over 20 years of experience.

On Saturday, May 17, the movie «Garfield: The Movie» will be screened for free as part of the Family Cinema at the El Soto Sociocultural Center at 6:00 pm. This fun movie about the home cat who hates Mondays and loves lasagna will also be shown on Sunday, May 18, at the North-University Sociocultural Center at 12:00 pm and at the Joan Miró Sociocultural Center at 6:00 pm. Tickets can be obtained at the venues from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

On May 17, the «Va de Bach» (It’s About Bach) show will take place at the Bosque Theater at 7:00 pm, featuring a dance performance by the Aracaladanza company inspired by Johann Sebastian Bach, the German musician and composer known for his spiritual purity and intense emotion.

The week ends with music. On Sunday, May 18, you can enjoy the «Guitar Concert» by Sara Mur, a teacher at the Rodolfo Halffter Professional Music Conservatory, as part of the XIV Concert Series at the City Museum at 12:00 pm. Admission is free, with tickets available at the museum.

In the evening, at 6:00 pm, the Iván Gómez Company will bring the dance show «Foliajazz» to the Bosque Theater, blending Spanish dance and flamenco with jazz, combining tradition and innovation creatively.

Más de 8.000 mostoleños celebraron la festividad de San Isidro de manera muy castiza en la Pradera de El Soto. El Ayuntamiento de Móstoles repartió más de 5.000 raciones de chocolate con churros de forma gratuita a los asistentes, que también disfrutaron de baile con orquesta y castillos hinchables durante toda la tarde. Además, un total de 350 personas se inscribieron en la divertida Carrera Holi, que tuvo lugar con motivo del Día Internacional de las Familias, concluyendo con una fiesta de animación con coreografías y música en El Soto.
