Cambio en la ruta de autobús A-5 entre Móstoles y Cuatro Vientos tras quejas
The Ministry of Transportation and Sustainable Mobility, led by Óscar Puente, has revamped the A-5 BUS LANE between Móstoles and Vietos to enhance the mobility of private vehicles and facilitate public transportation circulation.
This lane has faced complaints from residents and mayors in the area, citing more severe traffic issues. Now, the ministry has altered its appearance to start after the M-50 connection with Arroyomolinos with the aim of «easing the movements of private vehicles in and out.»
Additionally, the department led by Oscar Puente has allowed direct access from the roadside to this bus lane to facilitate the integration of public transportation services.
«The ministry has enhanced the route where it is concluding the implementation of the bus lane on the A-5 section between Móstoles and Cuatro Vientos.

Controversies on social media
This model modification comes after clashes on social media between the Minister of Transportation and Sustainable Mobility and the Mayor of Móstoles, Manuel Bautista (Pages). The councilor from Móstoles posted on social media «X» a photo of a jam on A-5 accompanied by the message: «This is the daily ordeal Mostoleños have to endure due to the bus lane.» A complaint that sparked debate among platform users.
In response to this, Puente also, through social media, reminded the mayor that the «invention» of the A-5 bus lane was «a request from the Madrid community.» In his message, the transportation minister displays the report from the Regional Transport Consortium in Madrid (CRTM), requesting the bus lane on A-5 in Móstoles.
