The mayor of Móstoles, Manuel Bautista (PP), has requested a meeting with the Health Minister, Fátima Matute, to address «the difficult health situation» that some health centers in the municipality are facing, including those in Parque Coimbra, Alcalde Bartolomé González, and Doctor Luengo Rodríguez.
«We consider it a priority to directly address the challenges that our city is currently facing in terms of healthcare. We believe that a meeting would allow us to jointly analyze the existing needs and explore possible solutions to improve the quality of healthcare in our city,» the mayor states in his letter.
Therefore, he is «at your disposal» to arrange the meeting on a date and in a format that best suits your schedule, «thanking you in advance for your attention and awaiting your response,» concludes the letter, which has been accessed by EFE.
The Municipal Health Week will offer more than 40 activities in Móstoles
During the meeting, the mayor will also address the situation that has arisen in the past month at the University Hospital of Móstoles, where surgical activity has been suspended in the afternoons following the unanimous decision of professionals to reject the ‘management agreements’ that were being discussed.
