El Pleno de Móstoles ha aprobado una modificación de crédito que se destinará al Plan Estratégico de Actuaciones en Centros Educativos de Móstoles, con votos a favor del Grupo Municipal Popular y VOX, y con la abstención del resto de grupos municipales. La modificación de crédito asciende a 2.488.163,45€ y proviene del 50% de los gastos de la expropiación del Centro de I+D de la Zona Norte, junto a Móstoles Tecnológico. Este importe se sumará a otros 450.000€ en otro expediente de modificación de crédito, alcanzando un total de 3.000.000€ de inversión destinados a obras en colegios. Se prevé una inversión total de 12 millones de euros, un 111,4% más que en la legislatura anterior. El expediente aprobado se publicará en el Boletín Oficial de la Comunidad de Madrid en un plazo de 15 días.

The Móstoles City Council, in an extraordinary plenary session, approved today the resolution proposal on credit modification in the form of a credit supplement H004/DGP/2025-02, with the votes in favor of the Popular Municipal Group and VOX, and with the abstention of the rest of the municipal groups (PSOE, Más Madrid Móstoles, and Mixed Group).

The amount of the credit modification in the 2025 budget, due to unforeseen income, amounts to €2,488,163.45. This source of funding was included in the 2024 budget, but since the income was received on January 3, 2025, it is considered an unforeseen income in the current year.

The amount, derived from 50% of the expenses incurred for the expropriation of the R&D Center in the North Zone, next to Móstoles Technological, according to the agreement signed between the City Council and the Community of Madrid, will be allocated to the expenditure project of the Strategic Plan of Actions in Móstoles Educational Centers. This amount, along with another €450,000 in another credit modification file, adds up to a total of €3,000,000 in investment destined for school works, an amount that will be maintained in each fiscal year until the end of the term. In total, €12 million will be invested, 111.4% more than in the previous term.

The approved file will be published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid within 15 days.
