«Everything unfolded without incidents, as has also happened in other parts of the region. I believe we set an example of anticipation and response, and it should serve us to continue in that direction, improving in the face of potential new emergency scenarios in the future,» he pointed out.
When asked about the return of families to their homes, the delegate urged for caution and reminded that «river levels could still rise,» hence keeping residents informed about the situation. «At the moment, we are in a situation where, although the emergency level is at zero, the attention and surveillance on the river levels are total. We will provide updates on when normality can be restored,» he affirmed.
