On Holy Thursday, the Night Procession will be the highlight, starting at 10:00 p.m. with the images of Jesus Nazareno and Our Lady of Solitude leaving from the Parish of Our Lady of the Assumption. The musical accompaniment will be provided by the Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno Musical Group and the La Estrella Band Musical Group.

Good Friday will feature the traditional Holy Burial procession starting at 6:30 p.m. from the Santa María de la Alegría Parish, with the accompaniment of the La Estrella Band Musical Group.

On Easter Sunday, the iconic Encounter Procession, declared a Regional Tourist Interest festival, will close the main liturgical events of Holy Week in Móstoles. The processions with the images of the Resurrected Christ and Our Lady of Solitude will start at 10:15 a.m., converging at Four Crossroads Square around 11:00 a.m. The Solemn Easter Mass will be officiated at Pradillo Square at 12:00 p.m. Afterwards, the images will return to their respective temples. En la Biblia, el Jueves Santo se establece que sucedió la Última Cena de Jesús con los doce apóstoles; el Viernes Santo, conmemora la crucifixión; el Sábado Santo, es día de duelo por la muerte de Jesús; y, finalmente, el Domingo de Pascua se celebra su Resurrección.

La Procesión de la Noche será protagonista el Jueves Santo, 17 de abril. A las 22:00 h las imágenes de Jesús Nazareno y Nuestra Señora de la Soledad saldrán desde la Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, que permanecerá abierta durante toda la noche para adorar al Santísimo, y recorrerán la plaza de Ernesto Peces, las calles Ricardo Medem y del Cristo, la Avenida del Dos de Mayo, la plaza del Pradillo y la Cuesta de la Virgen hasta la Ermita de Nuestra Señora de los Santos. El acompañamiento musical correrá a cargo de la Agrupación Musical Nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno y de la Agrupación Musical Banda La Estrella.

El mismo jueves, las personas ciegas podrán vivir una experiencia sensorial en la Ermita de Nuestra Señora de los Santos, que se abrirá expresamente, de 11:00 h a 12:30 h, para que puedan tocar y sentir las imágenes de la Borriquilla, Piedad y Cristo Yacente, además de tronos o estandartes.

El Viernes Santo, 18 de abril, se celebran las «Laudes» en la Asunción, a las 09:00 h. Este término, procedente del latín significa «alabanza» y corresponden a la oración de la mañana, que se compone de un himno, una lectura y varios salmos, y que tienen el propósito de consagrarse a Dios al comienzo de la jornada.

A continuación, tendrá lugar la «Rompida de la hora» en la Plaza de Ernesto Peces, a las 11:45 h. Y a partir de las 12:00 h da comienzo el «Viacrucis» desde la misma plaza. La celebración de la Pasión del Señor en la Asunción y en la Alegría será por la tarde, a las 17:00 h.

También el viernes la procesión del Santo Entierro centrará los actos a partir de las 18:30 h, sacando al Santísimo Cristo Yacente de la Victoria, desde la Parroquia Santa María de la Alegría, que contará con el acompañamiento musical de la Agrupación Musical Banda La Estrella.

Además, se celebrará la tradicional Procesión Mayor del Viernes Santo, que partirá a las 20:30 h desde la Ermita de Nuestra Señora de los Santos. Las imágenes del Crucificado, la Piedad, el Cristo Yacente y Nuestra Señora de la Soledad recorrerán las calles céntricas de Móstoles escoltadas por el Regimiento de Infantería «Inmemorial del Rey» nº 1, un Escuadrón de Gastadores de la base aérea de Getafe, agentes del Destacamento de Tráfico de la Guardia Civil de Móstoles y una unidad de la Policía Municipal con uniforme de gala.

El Sábado Santo, 19 de abril, se podrá velar al Cristo Yacente, de 09:00 h a 13:00 h en la Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción. Allí, se llevará a cabo el «Oficio de tinieblas», a las 10:00 h y por la noche, a las 22:00 h, la «Solemne Vigilia Pascual».

El domingo 20 de abril, Domingo de Resurrección se celebra la emblemática Procesión del Encuentro, declarada fiesta de interés Turístico Regional, que cierra los principales actos litúrgicos de la Semana Santa mostoleña. Los cortejos procesionales, con las imágenes del Cristo Resucitado y Nuestra Señora de la Soledad saldrán a las 10:15 h. Cada una de las imágenes partirá desde sus respectivos templos: el Resucitado, desde la Ermita de Nuestra Señora de los Santos y la Soledad, desde la Parroquia de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, hasta encontrarse en la Plaza de Cuatro Caminos, en torno a las 11:00 h.

Tras tres procesiones de las dos imágenes, la Virgen de la Soledad cambia su manto de luto por uno blanco, simbolizando la resurrección de Cristo. A las 12:00 h se llevará a cabo la Misa Solemne de Pascua en la Plaza del Pradillo, seguida por el regreso de las imágenes a sus templos.
