La cinta de autobús A-5 ahora comienza en la M-50

The Ministry of Transportation has changed the beginning A-5 Bus Lane between Móstoles and Cuatro Vientos. It was changed last night and will now start at M-50. This controversial bus lane was the subject of complaints from residents and mayors in the area who felt that traffic problems worsened after the underground work began.

The complaints focused on the bus lanes, implemented in the service and not on the central A-5 road, transferring traffic jams to the exits of Móstoles and Alcorcón, especially during rush hour.

Now, the ministry has changed its starting point to begin after the M-50 connection with Arroyomolinos with the aim of «facilitating the movements of entry and exit of private vehicles».

The ministry allowed direct access from the main road to this bus lane to facilitate the integration of public transport services.
