Este talentoso saxofonista y clarinetista, nacido en La Habana en 1948 y ganador de 18 premios Grammy en su carrera musical, cautivó al público con su actuación en el teatro.
Además, tanto los habitantes de Móstoles como los visitantes disfrutaron de diversas propuestas musicales jazzísticas durante el festival. Desde la banda Iruña Brass Band que recorrió las calles de la ciudad, hasta las «Melodías prohibidas» de Swing Machine Orchestra, pasando por el primer tributo a Amy Winehouse con una big band en la Plaza del Pradillo, y un cabaret rodante en el Parque Finca Liana.
La programación infantil prevista para el sábado a mediodía, «Jazz For Children», fue pospuesta debido a las altas temperaturas, pero se retomará en una fecha próxima.

The children’s program scheduled for Saturday at noon, «Jazz For Children,» was affected by the high temperatures that the country is experiencing, on alert for a heatwave, so the City Council of Mostoles was forced to postpone this activity, which will be resumed at a later date.
