- Today, El Teatro del Bosque had the presence of H.M. King Felipe VI, who presided over the CongresFest, the central event of the Talent Tour 2025, making its final stop in Móstoles after visiting other Spanish cities such as L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Almería, León, and Badajoz.

Today, Móstoles received a visit from H.M. King Felipe VI, who attended the Princess of Girona International Award 2025, in its CreateCompany and Research categories, at the Teatro del Bosque. This award, presented within the CongresFest, the central event of the Talent Tour, recognizes the trajectory of young Ibero-Americans, with a focus on internationalization, to extend the work of the Princess of Girona Foundation beyond Spanish borders.
Prior to this, the monarch, H.M. King Felipe VI, accompanied by the Mayor of Móstoles, Manuel Bautista, and the President of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, along with other authorities, visited the Móstoles campus of the Rey Juan Carlos University to attend a session on «Princess of Girona Inspira: From Idea to Reality.» The event included contributions from Princess of Girona awardees such as Sergio Álvarez, co-founder of Carto, Luz Rello, founder of Change Dyslexia, Guillermo Martínez, founder of Ayúdame3D, and actress Victoria Luengo.
Móstoles is the final stop of the Talent Tour 2025 after visiting four other Spanish cities including L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, Almería, León, and Badajoz. This initiative, promoted by the Princess of Girona Foundation and in collaboration with TRIVU, the largest talent ecosystem in the world, aims to promote the training of young people, their talent, and creativity through various activities to improve their professional development, personal growth, and integration into the job market. It also involves the collaboration of companies and entities such as Davante –MEDAC, Microsoft, Novento Exnerxía, Renault Group Spain Foundation, and Banco Sabadell Foundation.
The Mayor of Móstoles, Manuel Bautista, thanked the Princess of Girona Foundation for choosing Móstoles to host the Talent Tour and this event. The mayor expressed his enthusiasm, as a monarchist, acknowledging «the pride of having the highest authority, King Felipe VI, in Móstoles, it is an absolute honor and a moment of enjoyment for all the people of Móstoles. There is nothing greater than our monarch, and he is in Móstoles.»
Accompanying H.M. King Felipe VI were the first deputy mayor and councilor for Security, Emergencies, and Environment, Gabriel Monteserín; the second deputy mayor and councilor for Finance, Presidency, and Human Resources, Alberto Rodríguez de Rivera; the third deputy mayor and councilor for Economy, Industry, and Employment, Ángeles García, the rest of the municipal government councilors, and other members of the municipal corporation.
Also present were the Government Delegate, Francisco Martín Aguirre; the Minister of Economy, Finance, and Employment, Rocío Albert; the Minister of Education, Emilio Viciana; the PP Deputy in the Madrid Assembly, Ismael Sirio, and the Deputy, Mirina Cortés, along with other personalities from the Princess of Girona Foundation and organizers of the Talent Tour.
Multidisciplinary activities for young people
As part of the Móstoles 2025 Talent Tour agenda, the municipality is conducting over 40 training, sports, cultural, and leisure activities from June 6 to 15 to promote the talent of young people aged 16 to 35 in Móstoles, totaling 43,622, at various locations in both Madrid and Móstoles.
Today, as part of the Princess of Girona CongresFest, a series of discussions, interviews, inspiring talks, musical performances, and innovation took place throughout the morning to raise awareness among the new generations to become agents of change and well-being for all. The Teatro del Bosque hosted personalities from various fields such as RTVE journalist Julio Somoano, Biciclown, who traveled the world for over 13 years on a bicycle, athlete Diana Martín, and José Ramón Cantero, a paralympic swimmer, as well as prominent Artificial Intelligence (AI) advocate Pau García-Milá, a Princess of Girona Award recipient, among others.
Also today, June 9, in the afternoon, the Ambassador meeting of the Princess of Girona Foundation will be held at the El Soto Sociocultural Center. The same center will host the event «Investors with Purpose,» where young entrepreneurs will present initiatives and early-stage projects with social or environmental impact to potential strategic partners and companies.
The schedule for tomorrow, June 10, includes the Proclamation of the Princess of Girona School Award 2024 and the premiere of the documentary on educational innovation «Generation of Teachers. The documentary,» focusing on educational transformation, in Madrid.
The activities will continue in Móstoles on the following days as part of the multidisciplinary agenda of the Talent Tour.
