The Teatro del Bosque, Plaza del Pradillo, and Parque Finca Liana in Móstoles will be filled with jazz chords and rhythms thanks to the ‘Móstoles Jazz’ festival, organized by the Móstoles City Council from June 27 to 29 in the city.
The programming will kick off on Friday, June 27 with Iruña Brass Band taking to the streets of Móstoles with a repertoire that ranges from traditional music to current trends in New Orleans music: groove, funk, hip-hop, and soul.
This ensemble, which has performed at major festivals like the 43rd Vitoria-Gasteiz Jazz Festival, will start its journey at 8:00 p.m. on Dos de Mayo Avenue. They will pass through Cuartel Huerta Park, Constitution Avenue, Plaza de la Cultura, and conclude at Plaza del Pradillo.

That day, at the same Plaza del Pradillo, starting at 10:00 p.m., Swing Machine Orchestra will perform ‘Forbidden Melodies’. It’s a blend of music and dance from various corners of the world that takes us back to the 1930s.

The weekend concludes on Sunday, June 29 in the best way possible: with jazz to sing, dance, and enjoy. At 11:30 a.m., the Cabaret Rodante arrives at Parque Finca Liana with a colorful party full of music reminiscent of 20th-century cabarets and country parties.
The festival’s grand finale comes with a concert by Paquito D’Rivera at 8:00 p.m. at the Teatro del Bosque. It will be an unforgettable performance by the Cuban musician and composer, who has received an impressive 18 Grammy Awards in his extensive musical career.
