The Holi race and the school cross country event have been postponed due to the storm, while the rest of the activities scheduled for the weekend will continue as planned. The weekend agenda in Móstoles, filled with cultural, sports, and educational activities, will be modified due to the forecasted rain brought by the storm Jana. As a precaution, the Holi race scheduled for Saturday from 11:00 to 15:00 at Parque Finca Liana has been postponed. The new date for the race will be announced once the official confirmation is received from the City Council.
Similarly, the school cross country event that was supposed to take place on Sunday will now be held on March 23. The rest of the weekend’s program organized by the City Council of Móstoles will continue as planned, designed by the Department of Youth, Family, Equality, and Cooperation in celebration of International Women’s Day.
On Saturday, in honor of the first female world chess champion, the I «Vera Menchik» Rapid Tournament will take place at 16:00 at the Agrupación Deportiva Ajedrez Móstoles. On Sunday, the Andrés Torrejón sports center will host a women’s rugby match starting at 11:00. In the afternoon, at 16:00, the animated movie «Mulan» will be screened at the Family and Equality building.
The cultural agenda for the weekend includes cinema, theatre, and music. The film «Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Chaos» will be shown as part of the «Family Cinema» program on Saturday at 18:00 at the El Soto Sociocultural Center and on Sunday at 12:00 at the North-University Sociocultural Center and at 18:00 at the Joan Miró Sociocultural Center.
Additionally, on Saturday at 19:00, the Teatro del Bosque will present the dramatic comedy «Dear Agatha Christie» starring Carmen Morales and Juan Meseguer. On Sunday at 12:00, the City Museum will host a concert by A.M. Banda la Estrella, and Periferia Teatro will perform the children’s play «Bobo» at the El Soto Theater on the same day.

El Ayuntamiento de Móstoles mantiene el resto de la programación para este fin de semana, incluyendo actividades en honor a la primera mujer campeona del mundo en ajedrez, un partido de rugby femenino, la proyección de la película Mulán, cine en familia, teatro y música.
